The RENTHOF Team takes great pleasure in welcoming you to Kassel – Extensive parks, dreamlike gardens, and a wide range of cultural activities are waiting to be discovered by you.
Since its reopening in June 2017, the historic Renthof Kassel has served as a modern city hotel with an exclusive restaurant, a bar, and several individual event locations. Here you can celebrate with your family and friends or hold a conference in an extraordinary ambience with modern conference technology.
For this contemporary use, the building, originally built as a Carmelite monastery in 1298, has been completely renovated in accordance with the requirements imposed on a listed building and preserving the architecture and history of the building.
Today, this building offers a unique atmosphere, which is characterized by the interplay of the historical basic elements and the modern design of the interior, which were carefully and individually selected by the owners.

Our inventive bar team have wonderful cocktail creations, a large selection of wines, and a small selection of snacks ready for you to enjoy within the bar’s centuries-old walls. At the counter or by the fireplace, the Pudelbar is a place you won’t find anywhere else.
OUR EVENT LOCATION
Whether it’s a dinner or a large conference you have in mind: We have just the right facilities for your event. From 10 to 300 people – we will find a suitable venue for you.
There are four different and unique rooms available to you in our building, and as a whole they can accommodate 650 guests.
